His service will be on Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church at 2901 Fontenelle Blvd. in Omaha at 11:00 am.

Call the Douglas County Veterans Service Officer at (402) 4447180 to
schedule an appointment. Don’t forget your paperwork. The Douglas County Service Officer works to assists all qualified county Veterans and their families in any way in obtaining the maximum Veterans Benefits they may be entitled to receive under Federal and State Laws and Regulations.

MavVet Fair
UNO’s Student Veteran Organization (SVO) in connection with the UNO’s Office of Military and Veteran Services would like to extend an invitation to table at the MavVet Fair on Tuesday, April 17th from 11:00am – 1:00pm in the Milo Bail Student Center Atrium. This tabling event is part of the SVO’s Tribute to the Fallen Week where they honor fallen service members since September 11, 2001 with the planting of a flag in the UNO Pep Bowl and reading of each service member’s name, rank, and branch. This year’s theme is “MavVets Make a Difference” which centers around the celebration of service and community engagement.
If your organization is interested in participating, please reply no later than Friday, April 6th and include the number of tables, chairs, and any additional needs of your organization. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this event.
